Private information is not available to other visitors or users of Friendeo, but may be used by Friendeo staff. • Videos played back
• Comments and other shared elements of video data
Facebook Account
Friendeo uses the Facebook connect mechanism to uniquely identify you and link to your social network. The login name and password is never stored or communicated to the Friendeo system or services. OATH is used in a secure browser to obtain necessary API tokens.
Software Settings
Every account has specific software settings that are stored on the central server. These settings include font preferences, security settings, etc. This information is private.
System and Usage
Information that is used to identify your connection, such as IP address, operating system and device is automatically collected and stored to identify your session. Usage information is recorded and utilized for aggregate statistical purposes only in order to improve services.
E-mail Address
Your email address is collected as part of the account process and during software registration. It is used for two purposes: to allow others to search for you and to inform you of important system changes. Your address is private and is not made available to any third party.
Videos you record
Videos that you record in Friendeo are posted directly to the facebook service and when played back locally are stored in a CDN maintained by a Friendeo partner.
Videos played back
Video delivery and playback is optimized for your device. As such a temporary copy of the video file may be on the Friendeo CDN to optimize this experience.
Disclosure to Law Enforcement
Friendeo will permit authorized officers of the court access to all available and relevant information to comply with valid legal process such as a search warrant, subpoena, or court order. In addition, Friendeo will authorize officers of the court access to protect Friendeo rights and property or in special emergencies when we believe physical safety is at risk.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Cookies are used on our sites to increase the usability of the site and to track usage trends in order to provide you with a better service.
Aggregated Demographic Data
We may share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers (such as number of hits, unique visitors, number of males and female).
